What we do…
At Blue Bird Birth, we know that pregnancy, birth, postpartum, abortion and bereavement support is a crucial part of having access to care. We provide the education you need during pregnancy and the support you deserve postpartum. We offer self-paced and online or in person- childbirth education, you decide what method works best for comprehensive care. We strive to end the stigmas surrounding pregnancy and infant loss. We also aim to provide the best abortion support, advocacy and connection when so much care is needed making a difficult decision.
So, we work with LGBTQ+, BIPOC, neurodivergent, immigrant, solo parents, disabled parents, those who are struggling with addiction or in recovery, poly families, basically anything you could imagine that doesn’t fit the typical white-cis-hetero clients in the holistic birth world (don’t worry, we still work with them, too!). We offer intersectional care and support to those who wouldn't be able to achieve such in the typical doula/holistic birth environment. Roughly 80% of our clients qualify for public aid, and we operate doing what we can to bridge the gap. We hope to become an integral part of the birth community that meets a need and fills a gap unlike any other organization.

Quincy Rose-Wright
Full Spectrum Doula and Student Midwife
I’m a full spectrum doula and student midwife serving the central MO, Kansas City, and Columbia service areas since 2020. I completed my certifications through Cornerstone Doula Training and loved every second of it! I specialize in bereavement/infant loss and birth work.
When not practicing birthwork, I am often found adventuring with my family, drinking iced coffee, or working on one of my many projects.
